Dear Parents and students,

Welcome back to Sea view Elementary! My name is Dr. Tim Steele I am your school principal. Our Assistant Principal is Mrs. Marjorie Paiyarat. We had an amazing start to the school year. The teaching staff and office staff have been working since early August to ensure we would be ready for you. The education of each child is a partnership between the school, parents and student. As the student’s first teacher, each parent should be involved in their child’s education. One way to be involved is by volunteering in our school. Please refer to the Office staff for additional information regarding volunteering on campus.

Here are a few important reminders. First, please remember Sea View is a closed campus. If you would like to be on campus, you must make an appointment with your child’s teacher or administration. Whenever you are seeking student information or picking up a student during school hours, you must present your government issued I.D. When picking up a student near the end of the day, you need to make the request prior to 2:30pm. We will not be interrupting classrooms after 2:30pm. The Cafeteria and Office open at 7:45am. Please do not drop off your child before 7:45am as we do not have supervision for them before 7:45am. When dropping off or picking up your child please use the designated areas. Also, please have “pick-up numbers” ready to show school staff when picking up your child after school. There is no need to get out of your vehicle and walk to the door. If you show your number from your vehicle window we will be able to see it and release your child then. For the safety of the students and staff please stay in your vehicle.

Every Wednesday is ‘Early Release’. All grades, TK-6th Grade, release at 1:45pm. All other days, Tk-6th Grade release at 2:45pm.

Additionally, we encourage everyone to set doctor appointments after school. The last 15 minutes of the day are important to our teachers as this time is used to recap the day. For this reason, we will not be releasing students the last 15 minutes of class. We thank you for your support and understanding.
